National investment dealer Integrated Wealth Securities Limited has announced that it has bought B.C.-based Sora Group Wealth Advisors.
As a result of the acquisition, four former Sora advisors will be joining Integral immediately.
According to a press release, the Sora advisors handle approximately $250 million in client assets cumulatively. They are based in Vancouver and Sydney, B.C.
“In terms of practice style, culture and location the Sora teams are an excellent fit for use and vice versa, so it’s a positive development for all concerned,” said John Gibson, Integral CEO.
“Supporting these teams and helping them further build out their established practices aligns well with our capabilities. Given the deep linkages across the west, we also expect our B.C. footprint should, over time, generate revenue synergies with out Alberta operations based in Calgary.”
Integral Wealth Securities is a private, IIROC-licensed investment dealer based in Toronto, with offices in Vancouver, Sydney, Nanaimo, Calgary and Kitchener.
