A customer of a Richmond mechanic shop is suing the business and the property owner after she allegedly fell into a hole and was injured.
In the suit, Pamela Ruth Williams says that she brought her car to be repaired at Mobil 1 Lube Express in Richmond. When she got out of her car, the suit alleges, she fell into the mechanic's pit. She broke several bones and hit her head.
Williams alleges that as a result of the injury, she has lost income, and has had to pay for medication and for someone to clean her house.
The owner of the property, Litke Development Corp., has also been named in the suit.
The suit alleges that the defendants should have made more efforts to ensure the mechanic shop was safe or warned customers that the area was unsafe.
As of press time, no statement of defense has been filed.
None of the allegations has been proven in court.
