Premier announces Women's Economic Council

Eleven B.C. women have been appointed to a new Premier's Women's Economic Council. The group, several of whom are Business in Vancouver CEO of the Year, Influential Women in Business or Forty under 40 award winners, will give advice to the B.C.

Eleven B.C. women have been appointed to a new Premier's Women's Economic Council.

The group, several of whom are Business in Vancouver CEO of the Year, Influential Women in Business or Forty under 40 award winners, will give advice to the B.C. government on how to increase women's participation in business.

The council will have the ear of Premier Christy Clark, jobs minister Shirley Bond and minister of state for tourism and small business, Naomi Yamamoto.

The council consists of:
