The Vancouver Board of Trade has become a member the BC Chamber of Commerce, the organizations announced today.
The BC Chamber of Commerce said the addition of 4,000 members of the Vancouver Board of Trade will give the provincewide organization more clout on the business file.
“In formalizing our relationship with the Vancouver Board of Trade, we enhance our ability to drive business-friendly policy in B.C,” said John Winter, president and CEO of the BC Chamber.
The BC Chamber of Commerce represents 36,000 members across the province.
“We firmly believe this partnership will help us push the dial forward on important issues that will affect the economic prosperity of all British Columbians,” said Iain Black, president and CEO of the Vancouver Board of Trade.
