A speech to the Vancouver Board of Trade will be Finance Minister Jim Flaherty's first public address after the federal budget is presented tomorrow in the House of Commons.
Flaherty is scheduled to discuss Canada's Economic Action Plan 2013 at a lunch meeting at the Fairmont Waterfront Friday.
The minister had said in November that the budget will centre around job creation.
He is predicted to announce a centralized government job skills training program to address the nation's currently 7% unemployment rate.
