The Visual Effects Society (VES) is hosting its second annual VES Vancouver Career Fair this weekend, according technology blog Techvibes.com.
The event, which is co-hosted hosted by the Vancouver Economic Commission and the Visual Effects Society, targets those interested in careers in gaming, animation and visual effects.
Last year's event had 1,200 attendees and 20 exhibitors.
This year, some of the exhibitors will include:
- Sony Pictures Imageworks;
- Digital Domain;
- Rainmaker;
- Industrial Light & Magic;
- Capilano University; and
- Vancouver Animation School.
Registration is free and will run from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
