SendtoNews inks landmark deal with NFL

Victoria’s SendtoNews has signed a multi-year agreement with the National Football League (NFL) to distribute NFL highlights to media outlets across Canada, the digital sports news agency announced September 19.

The company began distributing NFL content September 5 for the 2013 NFL Kickoff game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos.

“We feel very fortunate to be helping the NFL expand its digital offerings to Canadian fans,” said SendtoNews CEO Greg Bobolo.

“There is simply no more popular sport in North America than the NFL and no more premium sports brand than the NFL’s.”

SendtoNews already represents over 75 professional sports leagues around the world, including Formula 1, the English Premier League, the PGA Tour, Wimbledon and the Tour de France.
