Vision Critical, the market research company founded by the son of pollster Angus Reid, has a new CEO and is set to move into new headquarters.
Vision Critical announced last week that Scott Miller will move up from his COO position into the group CEO slot, while Andrew Reid, founder and former CEO, becomes the firm’s chief products officer.
Miller will be based in the company’s New York office.
Chaired by Angus Reid, Vision Critical moved the traditional polling that Reid is famous for into a new direction with community panels for testing products and services and online customer research.
The company’s Vancouver staff has doubled since 2009. Vision Critical recently announced its relocation from its head office in Yaletown to Granville Square.
“We enjoyed our time at Yaletown and certainly felt that our presence in Vancouver was appropriately advertised with great building signage,” said Angus Reid. “But our staff has grown from 140 to 285 full-time employees in Vancouver over the past three years, which meant that we had to look for new offices.”
