Vancouver's Browns Restaurant Group opened its 18th eatery on May 21, the organization announced this morning.
The latest restaurant is located in New Westminster and is called Browns Socialhouse Brewery District. It is named after the area in the Sapperton neighbourhood known for having breweries since 1879, including a Labbatt's facility that operated until 2005.
The three other restaurants that opened since March were in:
Nanaimo;
Stonebridge, Saskatchewan; and
Village Green in Vernon.
The restaurant group also franchises two Scotty Browns locations in Bellingham in Washington state and hopes to have 37 Browns Socialhouse locations across Canada by the end of 2014, including in Ontario.
