Along with skiing Italy’s famous Pila in the Val d’Aosta to round out the trip, travellers will test the longest toboggan run in the French part of Switzerland (10 kilometres), ski the picturesque mountain slopes of the Valaisan Alps (with views of the Rhone Valley and Sion), ride down the renowned “Pist de l’Ours,” and sample the Matterhorn-adjacent ski area of Thyon.
