Job seekers will meet with employers, post-secondary educational institutions, industry associations, and training and health authorities today as the BC Jobs Start Here Job Fair hits Vancouver.
The province has been holding job fairs in B.C. communities since mid-September; today’s fair is the 24th and final one.
The job fair runs from noon until 7 p.m. today at Vancouver Convention Centre East Building.
The province says it anticipates at least 3,000 attendees will visit the job fair, which features 45 exhibitors.
The job fair is part of the BC Jobs Plan, geared at promoting economic development and job growth in the province.
