Vancouver companies ranging from Vancity to West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. to Telus Corp. (TSX:T) have been named on Mediacorp Canada Inc.'s list of top 100 Canadian employers.
Any Canadian employer was eligible to enter the competition. Employers were judged based on
- physical workplace;
- work atmosphere and social;
- health, financial and family benefits;
- vacation and time off;
- employee communications;
- performance management;
- training and skills development; and
- community involvement.
According to Mediacorp, employers were compared to other employers in their fields to determine which offers "the most progressive and forward-thinking programs."
