The Vancouver Canucks are still in hiring mode after naming Trevor Linden president of hockey operations last month and embarking on a search for a new general manager and head coach.

The NHL hockey team is hosting a job fair at Rogers Arena May 5 and 6 from 1 to 7 p.m.

In March, the Canucks cancelled its contract with U.S.-based Aramark, which employed just under 1,000 concession workers at Rogers Arena.

Instead of the unionized workers, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, which is owned by the Aquilini Group, is hiring its own employees to fill those empty spots on its roster beginning July 1.

Aramark had a contract with the arena since it opened in 1995.
