Geoscience BC is looking for a new CEO to replace 'Lyn Anglin, who plans to step down this fall.

According to a Geoscience BC press release, Anglin is moving on "to pursue other interests," but plans to stick around to help ease the transition, as the organization looks for a new CEO.

GeosciencesBC is non-profit organization that helps foster investment and exploration in B.C. mining and oil and gas sector.

"Dr. 'Lyn Anglin turned Geoscience BC into a highly effective group that has delivered wide-ranging geoscience across British Columbia," said Geoscience BC chairman John Thompson.

"In addition to designing innovative programs that have generated high quality, sought after data, 'Lyn has managed an extremely efficient organization with minimal overhead, and developed programs based on the principals of collaboration and partnering."
