Dan-D Foods has received approximately $3 million in funding from B.C.-based First West Capital to purchase its production, head office and warehouse facility in Richmond.
"I'm a runner and hiker, and my entire family is active. As such, we have enjoyed Dan-D Foods' products for years," said First West Capital vice-president Kristi Miller. "I was so excited when the company approached us for help in buying its Richmond warehouse.
"Dan-D Foods is an iconic B.C. brand and we feel privileged to have been asked to assist with financing this project."
Dan-D Foods, first known for its cashews, has expanded and now sells nuts, rice, fruits and spices in six countries. The Dan-D Foods umbrella has three brands – Dan-D Pak, Dan-D Bulk and Dan-D Organic.
