Ecco Shoes and the crystal retailer Swarovski are moving to the southwest corner of the high-traffic intersection of Burrard and Robson streets.
The two retailers will share the building with skincare and beauty products seller L’Occitane, which is already open.
The space formerly housed the women’s fashion chain Bebe and has since been sliced into three separate units. Brokers were unable to find a tenant that wanted to take the entire 4,000-square-foot ground floor and 1,000-square-foot mezzanine that Bebe used.
L’Occitane has the largest of the three units and is situated on Burrard Street up to the corner. Then, heading west up Robson Street will be Swarovski and then Ecco. It is unclear whether Ecco will close its current store on Robson Street between Granville and Seymour streets.
The marquee intersection also includes a Roots store as well as flagship stores for both Lululemon and Victoria’s Secret.
“I can confirm that Swarovski and Ecco shoes will open next to L’Occitane in late April or early May,” Northwest Atlantic principal Brodie Henrichsen told Business in Vancouver.
He added that another change in the area is that Lacoste is closing its 2,285-square-foot location at 779 Burrard Street, between Robson Street and the lane between Robson and Alberni streets.
Henrichsen expects that a luxury retailer will replace Lacoste.
