Naturally Splendid Enterprises (TSX-V:NSP) has signed a national distribution deal with Purity Life Health Products LP for its hemp-based natural foods and supplements.
Naturally Splendid makes a number of hemp protein and hemp seed products under the NATERA brand. It also makes a range of supplements made from hemp, flax, canola and chia with Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.It has an exclusive sales agreement to market and distribute its patent-pending, plant-based omega products, created by Boreal at the University of BC.
Starting in 2011, the company tested the Canadian retail market for its hemp protein and hemp seed products in 350 stores in B.C. and Alberta, including Save On Foods, Urban Fare, London Drugs, Marketplace IGA and Sobeys.
Purity Life distributes a range of natural health products, including dietary supplements, vitamins, natural body care, household goods in 7,000 stores across Canada.
