Tenants at the Richmond outlet mall under construction near Vancouver International Airport plan to hire about 600 workers, according to U.K. shopping centre developer McArthurGlen, which is building the mall in partnership with the Vancouver Airport Authority.
A career fair will be held May 24 and 25 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel for those who want to work at the mall. The event follows a similar fair last month.
McArthurGlen also announced May 13 many of the tenants that will fill its 240,000-square-foot mall's first phase, which is expected to open within the next two months.
Business in Vancouver broke news of many of the mall's future tenants on May 7.

"As leasing agreements progress, we'll share more details about our final full tenant list," Ally Day, who is McArthurGlen's marketing manager, told BIV after the May 13 announcement.
McArthurGlen intends to build a 140,000-square-foot second phase to its mall that would open in 2017.
