A new Vancouver greeting card company is launching a line of greeting cards featuring local artists on The Hunted Few, a Vancouver-based online marketplace that specializes in selling hand-crafted goods by independent artisans and jewelry makers.
Love, Vancouver sells greeting cards featuring the work of local artists, with 10% of revenue going to the Boys & Girls Club of South Coast BC.
“As a former volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club, I was consistently amazed by the artistic talent these kids have,” Love, Vancouver founder Christine Pallen said in a press release. “I love the concept of career-artists sharing their talents and demonstrating what is possible.”
The Love, Vancouver collection features work by local artists, Jennilee Marigomen, Kara Love Eaton and Margherita Porra. The first series sells for $25 for a pack of six cards.
