Payment technology company Square has announced a contest aimed at Canadian small businesses.
Small-business owners can submit a photo or short video about their business to Twitter to enter the contest. The winner will be set up with Square devices, an iPad and a one-hour social media consultation.
Square, which was developed by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, plugs into smart phones and tablets and allows merchants to process credit card payments. There is a transaction fee of 2.75% per payment.
