In recognition of Small Business Month, Small Business BC is offering a series of free seminars and webinars to entrepreneurs looking to develop and grow their businesses.
The seminars will be held throughout October at the Small Business BC Education Centre in Vancouver, and will also be broadcast as webinars to reach out to business owners across the province.
"Small Business Month is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn about the many great resources that exist to help them succeed," said George Hunter, CEO of Small Business BC.
"We feel that having the knowledge and skills to back a business idea will only lead to stronger and more successful entrepreneurs in the province."
The seminar topics will include:
- doing business with the federal government: October 10;
- young entrepreneurs: Business planning and financing for young entrepreneurs: October 10;
- banking strategies to make the most of your money: October 22;
- workplace wellness: October 24; and
- growing a business through email and social media.
