Vancouver-based skin-care product company Skoah has opened a location in Bellevue, WA – the first of three planned Seattle-area locations.

The company is planning to open locations this fall in downtown Seattle and the Capitol Hill area.

Skoah, founded in Vancouver in 2001 by husband-and-wife team Chris and Andrea Scott, manufactures organic skin products made from plant extracts and minerals.

The company currently has seven Canadian locations – five in Vancouver and two in Calgary – and two stores in Boston, MA. The Boston locations are part of a licence agreement with partner Cam Nelson.

Andrea Scott told Business in Vancouver earlier this year that the company’s goal is to have 50 stores within the next five years, with future growth based on corporately-owned stores and not through licence agreements.
