Two days before International Women’s Day on March 8, women entrepreneurs are being invited to participate in a Twitter town hall Wednesday evening, to be hosted by Minister of State for Small Business Naomi Yamamoto.
The purpose of the event is to discuss the small business climate in B.C. and highlight ways the provincial government could help make it easier for women entrepreneurs to conduct business in the province.
The town hall will allow participants to share their experiences and identify unique challenges they have faced as women in the business world. It will also provide the opportunity to get advice and exchange information about mentoring programs and other resources.
The Twitter town hall will take place tonight, Wednesday March 6, from 7 to 8 p.m., using Twitter hashtag #BCBizChat.
