Vancouver app developer QuickMobile has secured $3.2 million in investment.
The funding came from existing investors, the Business Bank of Canada’s (BDC) IT venture fund and Vancity. It follows a total of $5.9 million previously raised in 2011 and 2012 from angel investors, Vancity and BDC.
The company, which has 145 employees, makes an app that allows users to create their own customized version for events and meetings.
“The demand for our multi-event platform is more than 10 times what we expected,” said Patrick Payne, CEO of QuickMobile.
