Vancouver’s CounterPath Corporation (TSX:CCV)(NASDAQ:CPAH) has announced a global distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics, Inc.
CounterPath is a developer of tablet and mobile VoIP software. The agreement will allow for the Arrow S3 business to distribute CounterPath’s Bria desktop and mobile softphones products through its more than 390 locations in 53 companies worldwide.
“Unified communications and BYOD [bring your own device] are leading telecommunication issues facing business today,” said David Lover, Arrow vice-president of strategy and technology.
“CounterPath gives enterprise customers compelling solutions to address their unified communications and BYOD needs.”
Todd Carothers, executive vice-president of marketing and products at CounterPath, said, “Arrow S3’s understanding of the marketplace and commitment to developing channel-ready unified communication solutions will further position Bria as the leading BYOD and OTT solution.”
Arrow has more than 120,000 commercial clients worldwide.
