DotNetNuke Corp., Business in Vancouver’s 14th fastest-growing company in B.C. this year, announced this morning that it has acquired iFinity, an Australian website and software development and URL management company.
The announcement follows DotNetNuke’s launch of the DNN 7.0 platform, which helps web content editors, developers and designers create and manage online communities, social intranets and content-rich websites.
iFinity founder Bruce Chapman joins the DNN development team, effective immediately.
“Bruce has been an advocate for DNN for many years – a voice of intelligence and passion for the same beliefs that we have here,” said Shaun Walker, co-founder and CTO of DNN.
“Bringing him and his vast experience on board will do nothing but help further improve and enhance the DNN platform as we continue our goal of enabling customers to design and develop content-rich, engaging sites.”
DNN’s engineering office is in Langley. The company also has locations in California and the Netherlands. Its annual revenue grew 892% between 2007 and 2012, from $453,958 to $4,503,000.
