Vancouver's HootSuite has added SugarCRM to its suite of available apps, the social media management company announced August 29.
California-based SugarCRM has developed a customer relationship management tool that it says helps organizations manage customer service by identifying and creating leads based on social media profiles.
"Businesses are really starting to see the benefits of using social media to enhance customer engagement and reap the benefits of social selling," says Gregory Gunn, HootSuite vice-president of business development.
"This new integration allows business teams to better follow up with social media leads, nurture relationships in real-time, and close deals easier than ever before."
SugarCRM recently announced it had received $40 million in private funding from Goldman Sachs.
The app is available for free to all HootSuite Enterprise clients.
