Pulse Energy, a Vancouver company that specializes in improving energy efficiency in buildings, has received an award at the Globe 2012 conference on sustainability.
Pulse received the Globe Environmental Excellence Award for Technology Innovation and Application on Friday. At the end of February, Pulse was also named one of the top clean-tech companies in B.C. on the Ready to Rocket list, which tracks the most promising companies in B.C. high-tech, clean-tech and life sciences sectors.
Pulse makes energy management software used to make buildings energy efficient. According to Pulse, the program can lead to energy savings of 5% to 25%.
Pulse was one of the many exhibitors at this year’s Globe conference. An estimated 10,000 business and government leaders from 50 countries attended the three-day conference, which ended Friday.
