PwC is looking for Canada's top innovator in 2013, and is now accepting nominations for its annual Innovator of the Year award, the company announced this morning.
The award, part of PwC's Vision to Reality Awards program, is intended to recognize emerging technology companies that have demonstrated growth and outstanding achievements, based on innovation, financial performance and strategic direction.
"The Innovator of the Year award showcases companies who have had the courage to take a vision or idea and turn it into a viable reality of revenue and profit," said PwC national emerging company leader Eugene Bomba.
"We're looking for "game changers' – ventures that really have the power to change up the landscape and bring a unique benefit to the industry."
Allen Lau of Wattpad, 2012 winner, said, "The awards help to inspire future technology start-ups and are a great way for CEOs to build the network they need to see their companies thrive."
Nominations will close August 30 and the winner will be announced November 7.
