Knowledgetech, a Vancouver-based company that specializes in information technology management, is merging with DTM Systems.
The companies announced Monday that they have signed a letter of intent to merge. The new company will be headquartered in Vancouver, and will have a combined staff of 150.
"While many of our competitors in the market are shrinking, we continue to see opportunities to expand and we're capitalizing on them," said Knowledgetech president Al Ytsma.
"This merger is just the tip of the iceberg for us. We believe the union of our two companies has the potential to deliver enormous benefit to our customers in terms of our existing offerings as well as a host of new possibilities that are open to us as a merged company."
Knowledgetech provides a range of IT management services for business, including customer relations management and enterprise content management.
