The Still Brandworks, a Vancouver-based design firm, has developed a series of concept computer dashboards with tech giant SAP and Formula 1 racing team McLaren F1.
The dashboards display data gleaned by SAP technology in order to help race crews make strategic decisions – such when to change tires and what type of tire to change to – in order to better guide their drivers.
“The staggering number of factors that the McLaren team and drivers must consider made for an interesting design challenge,” said project lead Ilia Naimagon.
“We were tasked with effectively communicating predictive insights and actionable information, while minimizing visual noise.”
