Vancouver social fundraising platform FundRazr is among four Canadian tech startups chosen to participate in a tech startup program run by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) in London, according to technology blog Techvibes.
The UKTI program is aimed at allowing the participants to meet and engage with investors and clients, explore new market opportunities and plan their international expansions.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting some of our amazing UK customers in person and starting the process of setting up our presence in London,” says FundRazr CEO Daryl Hatton. “Nothing strengthens a business relationship better than meeting face-to-face.”
The other Canadian startups chosen for the program were:
- Joist (Winnipeg);
- Gnowit (Ottawa); and
- BusBud (Montreal).
FundRazr is a crowdfunding platform that has raised over $27 million for clients including the Tiger Woods Foundation and Save the Children, as well as entrepreneurs, politicians, artists and teams.
