Air passengers will have more ways of getting to Seattle and beyond now that Alaska Airlines is bringing back year-round direct flight service between Kelowna and Seattle.
Air Alaska had previously confirmed they were bringing back seasonal service from Seattle to Kelowna, the airline has now confirmed flights will be year-round between Kelowna International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
These flights will be non-stop with connections to destinations across the Alaska Airlines network to destinations like Hawaii, Chicago and LA.
Alaska Airlines is currently operating Embraer 175 (E175) jets on flights between Kelowna and Seattle. The E175 jet features 12 seats in first class, 12 in premium class and 52 in the main cabin.
WestJet announced in July that they will begin daily service to Seattle starting in January 2025.
That route is expected to unlock more connectivity between popular regions to a network of U.S. destinations through the airline’s longstanding partnership with Delta Air Lines.
