Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters British Columbia has announce the winners of the 2013 BC Export Awards, which recognize B.C. companies for their contributions to the province’s export industry.
Pinnacle Renewable Energy took hope the Exporter of the Year award, as well as winning in its category, the Premier’s Award for Job Creation.
“Congratulations to all of the winners of the 2013 BC Export Awards and to CME BC for their incredible work in recognizing industry excellence through the awards gala,” said Minister of International Trade Teresa Wat, who was in attendance at the awards event November 15.
“Premier Christy Clark and I are embarking on the Jobs and Trade Mission to Asia later this month to open new doors and get B.C. goods and services into global markets. We know that by expanding and strengthening trading relationships abroad means real jobs here at home.”
The 2013 winners in each category are:
- Advancing Technology and Innovation: Alpha Technologies;
- Consumer Products: Nii Northern International;
- Sustainability: Endurance Wind Power;
- Manufactured Products: Whitewater West Industries;
- Digital Media & Entertainment: Vancouver Film Studios;
- Professional Services: Global Relay;
- Natural Resources: Paper Excellence;
- New Exporter: dPoint Technologies;
- Premier’s Award for Job Creation: Pinnacle Renewable Energy;
- International Business Studies Award: Connor Bildfell;
- Leadership Award: Warren Roy, CEO & founder, Global Relay; and
- Exporter of the Year: Pinnacle Renewable Energy.
